On the 18th of April 2026 in Kolobrzeg city, the 8th edition of the – has just concluded – an event that once again brought together people united by a shared passion, discipline, and respect for the way of karate.
173 competitors from 15 centers across Poland, representing various contact karate federations, took to the tatami. Each bout was not only a competitive sport but also an expression of fortitude, perseverance, and years dedicated to honing their skills. The high technical level and commitment of the participants made the tournament a true celebration of karate.
The competition took place simultaneously on three mats, where emotion, focus, and determination intertwined in the dynamic rhythm of the day. Both the bouts and the kata competitions were of a very high standard, showcasing the beauty of precision, strength, and control. The third-place bouts further emphasized the importance of the competition, giving the competitors the opportunity to fully demonstrate their worth.
The event was held under the patronage of the Mayor of Kołobrzeg, Anna Mieczkowska, whose support is an important expression of appreciation for the development of the sport and the values of karate.
The tournament was organized by the Kyokushin Karate Kołobrzeg Buntai Club, led by Sensei Paweł Falko. Thanks to the organizers’ dedication and professionalism, the event ran smoothly, with attention to every detail, creating a space worthy of the highest level of sporting competition.
The Chief Judge, Sensei Konrad Kozubowski, oversaw the smooth conduct of the competition, whose experience and authority ensured fairness and compliance with the spirit and principles of karate. The Fightsystem team, led by Shain Radek Ambroziak, provided efficient support, ensuring smooth progress and accurate results.
Among all the participants, those who particularly stood out on the tatami were selected: Nadia Małys of Dojo Husaria Szczecin was named the tournament’s best female competitor, while Krzysztof Szydłowski of Dojo Kolobrzeg Buntai won the title of best male competitor. Their performance was not only a testament to their high skills but also an example of the true spirit of budo.
Dojo Kołobrzeg Buntai (So-Kyokushin) triumphed in the team classification, Dojo Husaria Szczecin (So-Kyokushin) took second place, and Fight Club Lubawka (WKB) took third place.

It is on the tatami, in respect for the opponent and in the pursuit of perfection, that the true essence of karate is revealed – a path that shapes not only the body but, above all, character.
