From May the 9th to 12th 2025.
An international seminar took place between the towns of Gallipoli and Parabita with instructors from Japan Naoto Kusakabe & Kai Ogasawara both award-winning in the disciplines of Kumite and Kata!
The Italian Karate SoKyokushin organization and promoter of the event wanted to orient all training to Japanese methods, to improve the technique and skills of each participant!The topics covered ranged across all sectors with corrections and demonstrations of Kata (Forms), basic technique exercises from a standstill and in motion enriched by practical applications called Bunkai.
Each training session ended with the Kumite (sparring) to exchange of experience and to verify what was understood during the class just ended.
The seminar saw the presence of about 260 Kyokushinkai Karate partecipats and counted the presence of about 12 Countries of which 110 athletes from abroad and about 150 from all over Italy!
The international groups present were:
Canada , UK , Norway
Spain , Hungary . Poland
Giorgia , Holland , Kuwait ,
Greece and of course Italy !
The organizer of the event was Shihan Casto Samuele National Manager of the Kyokushinkai italian sector !
Great satisfaction for the participation and the success of the event but above all for the growth of our guys who were able to share experiences with young and award-winning instructors from Japan!
A special thanks for the support of the local CSEN Lecce area, in the person of the President Prof. Grimaldi Marcello and the Vice President Prof. Giuseppe Macagnino always present to these initiatives and always ready to support us!
