Report from the Polish Kyokushin Karate Championships 2022
On April 23, 2022, the Polish Kyokushin Karate Championships of the Polish Full-Contact Karate Organization (PFKO) and the accompanying tournament The Best Warrior Cup took place in Ełk city, Poland. The host of these sports emotions was the Kyokushin Dojo Sosnowski Karate Sport’s Club, headed by sensei Oskar Sosnowski, who used the rich experience of his father, sensei Grzegorz Sosnowski, during the organization of this unique event. The main tournament was preceded by a competition for the youngest players, symbolizing the continuous relay of kyokushin karate generations, in which 140 players from 24 centers took part. On the other hand, 273 players representing 39 clubs from all over the country competed in the Polish Championships. Both the sports and organizational level was very high, and the setting of the championship with the use of light-sound effects was exceptional. As a result of many duels, the first place in the team classification was taken by KSW BUSHI, before the Szczycieński Kyokushin Karate Club and the HUSARIA Sports Club of Szczecin. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that representatives of as many as 10 full-contact karate organizations took part in the championship. Congratulations!! The sports weekend ended with the Sayonara Party among positive and smiling people. It was delicious.
We would also like to inform you that the host of next year’s Polish Kyokushin Championships of the Polish Full-Contact Karate Organization will be the Limanowa Kyokushin Karate Club led by shihan Zbigniew Goliński.
