The Kyokushin karate spring exam, led by Sergey Shihan Podberezko, was held on May 23-24 and June 8-9, 2026 in the Altai Territory (Russia).

About 320 students, aged from 6 to 63 years, took part in the test.

All participants were divided into 7 groups by age and qualifications, so the mentors from the attestation commission had the opportunity to pay close attention to each applicant.

The traditional kyokushin karate exam included performing techniques on the spot (kihon), moving (ido), demonstrating formal complexes (kata), physical training and contact duels (kumite). The decision on the exam results was made for each participant, according to the totality of his successes at each stage.

It wasn’t easy, not everyone managed to cope with the standards and someone will try their hand next time, nevertheless, each participant reached a new level through overcoming during the test.

Congratulations to all those who passed the test! We are waiting at the dojo with updated belts, it’s time to start preparing for the next exam!

We thank our mentors for organizing the exam and creating the opportunity for professional testing of their skills!
Osu!
