From June 29th to July 9th, 2025, a Kyokushin Karate summer camp, organized by Husaria Dojo run by Shihan Radek AMBROZIAK, took place in Pogorzelica.
130 karate students from Szczecin Husaria Dojo took part in that event.
Participants had a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in a unique atmosphere.

The camp program was intensive and full of keiko sessions, held four times per day, including sunrise and sunset keiko.
These extraordinary keiko sessions provided not only an excellent opportunity for practice but also for reflection and connection with nature during spectacular moments on the beach.

The special guest and main instructor of the camp was Senpai Naoto Kusakabe, uchideshi of Hanshi Daigo Ohishi.
His knowledge and experience attracted many Polish Karateka.
Summer Camp members have been divided into the four groups based on the kyu level.
The most advanced group, led by Senpai Naoto, focused on key aspects of kata, such as “ma,” “kankyu,” and “kyojaku,” allowing participants to acquire valuable skills and knowledge from the World Champion.
Those were very interesting lessons which had a great impact on the karate level of the Polish Karateka.

The camp atmosphere was incredibly positive and all members treated each other as family. The wonderful weather fostered intense keikos, which was both challenging and rewarding.
Participants enthusiastically took to the classes, and each returned home with new skills and experiences.
Additionally, Senpai Naoto organized question-and-answer sessions, during which participants had the opportunity to better understand Japanese karate culture and philosophy.

The sunrise and sunset keiko sessions were also a remarkable experience, instilling a sense of harmony and reflection in participants.
As an added attraction, all participants had the opportunity to try scuba diving under the watchful eye of Shihan Radek, who is also a diving instructor, which enriched the camp experience with new challenges.

The kyu test was also held during the camp.
The Examination Board was chaired by World Champion – Senpai Naoto Kusakabe.
Polish karateka demonstrated a very high level of training, and many passed the skills and spirit tests.
Nevertheless, all of them also have the feeling that they have to study karate even more now.

We are looking forward to the next Kyokushin Karate Husarii Dojo summer camp, scheduled for next year – June 28th to July 8th, 2026.
We cordially invite all karate enthusiasts to participate in this unique event, which is sure to bring even more unforgettable moments and new skills!
