Every year the tournament is held at the highest level and with the strongest competition in the categories.
And this year, more than 250 athletes from 11 regions of Russia competed for medals: Moscow, Moscow Region: Elektrougli, Leningradskaya Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Ivanovo Region, Kurgan Region, the Republic of Tatarstan: Kazan, Leninogorsk, Bazarnye Mataki, the Republic of Bashkortostan: Ufa, Tuymazy, Perm Region, Kaborino-Balkarian Republic, Nalchik, Krasnoyarsk Region, Krasnoyarsk, Samara Region, Tolyatti.

Karatekas of different ages competed for awards in kata, group kata and kumite.
The first two types of the program are a demonstration of technique, while the latter is a direct competition on the tatami.
The organizers, the Russian National Karate Federation Kyokushin Kaikan, did everything possible to ensure that the participants of the competition received many unforgettable emotions, so that victories brought glory to the fighters, and defeats inspired more intensive training, and confident progress towards the goal.

Before the start of the fights, the leading coaches of the teams and their assistants were presented with Letters of Gratitude for their great personal contribution to the development and popularization of Kyokushin Kaikan karate and sports, for their help in organizing the competitions.
