On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, on February 22-23, 2025, Kazan hosted competitions, the Championship and Junior Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kyokushin Kaikan karate in the disciplines: Kata, Group Kata and Kumite.Teams from Kazan, Leninogorsk, Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia), Penza, Tolyatti, Tuymazy (Republic of Bashkortostan) took part in the tournament.

The competition became a celebration of sports, health and friendship for all participants.
