On September 13-15, 2024, the IKO World So-Kyokushin Seminar took place in the Dojo Stara Wies. These three intensive days full of training allowed participants to improve their skills in the unique, energetic atmosphere of this magical place.
The Seminar led by Shihan Radek Ambroziak devoted their attention to kata. Keiko run by Shihan Radek was based on the knowledge which Shihan gained during his last trip to Japan, from which Shihan came back just two days before the seminar. Each kata was broken down into small parts, focusing on the smallest details.
The National Fighting Team led by Shihan Piotr Zembrzuski focused on intensive preparation for the new season. Training included work on technical aspects of fighting, in particular on maintaining the right distance and dynamically breaking off a kick, which is key to an effective fight. There was also work on defense, and newly learned elements were tested in Kumite – allowing you to test your skills in real situations.
The seminar was not only an opportunity for hard work during training, but also a time of shared moments filled with smiles and joy. We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and Sensei Lukasz Sekiewicz for the perfect organization of the event. We are already inviting you to next year’s seminar, which will take place on September 10-12, 2025!
