On April 15, 2023, the Polish Championships of the Polish Fullcontact Karate Organization took place in Limanowa. The organizer of this year’s Polish Championships was the Limanowski Kyokushin Karate Club led by shihan Zbigniew Goliński. 318 competitors from 61 contact karate dojos, from 12 different full-contact karate organizations, took part in the competition. High attendance, excellent condition of the competitors, great prizes, including financial scholarships for the winners funded by the Polish Fullcontact Karate Organization, the Limanowski Kyokushin Karate Club and the N.O.W.I company made it extremely difficult to get a place on the podium. This event was a great organizational success, which ensured a great sports spectacle at a high level worthy of the Polish Championships. All competitors took part in the kata and kumite. The competitors of IKO World So-Kyokushin Poland won as many as 47 medals, including 13 gold, 18 silver and 16 bronze. As many as two IKO World So-Kyokushin clubs were on the podium of the best team classification (Szczecin Sports Club Husaria, led by Shihan Radek Ambroziak – 2nd place, Opole Kyokushin Karate Club, led by Shihan Mariusz Godoś – 3rd place). In addition, our players received additional awards: Aleksander Ambroziak (Husaria Szczecin Dojo) – was recognized as the best player among juniors, while sensei Konrad Kozubowski (Opolski KKK) was awarded the title of the best technician of the championship. Both of these competitors dominated their categories in both kata and kumite – winning gold medals in them.
