This tournament is open to all organizations and countries!
Please note that rules in this tournament is due to Swedish Law and that conditions and regulations are mandatory in order to get permission to hold tournaments in “Kyokushin Kumite Semicontact” sanctioned by the Swedish Karate Federation..
For Children-categorys (age 7-11 years of age), you must have: gloves, legprotection covering shin and top of foot, mouthguard, groinprotection (suspensoar) for boys, helmet and bodyarmour.
Childrens category is separated year by year(8 year olds fight 8 year olds, 9 year olds fight 9 years etc.) Boys and girls is separated.
NO CONTACT to the head, Yodan Mawashi Geri MUST stop 5-10 cm from fighters head.
Juniors category 1 (12-13 year olds): Same as above except no body armour.
Junior category 2 and 3 (14-15 years and 16-17 years): Same as Junior cat.1 EXCEPT skin touch to the head for scoring but NO KNOCKOUT.
No Yodan Geris except controlled Yodan Mawashi Geri with contact levels
as mentioned above.
No Yodan Tobi Geris.
For competitor aged 14-15 years and16-17 years needed competitor license ! Only for Swedish participants.
Rules:
Kids Rule Extensions Kyokushin Karate in Swedish Karate Association.
With Children referred boys and girls from about 7 years to 11 years.
Age refers to the actual age on race day.
Children can compete in light contact and semi-contact for contact to the body.
With semi-contact means skin touch the body. Any contact to the head is prohibited.
Chapter 2. Clothing and protection in connection with the contest.

-Jockstrap (boys)
-Shin guards that cover the shin and instep.

-Instructive approach, judges and officials focus on teaching and explaining procedures and rules.
-Create condition for children to continue competing.
Chapter 5. Game time.
Paragraph 4 b
Matchtime Children.
1, 1.5 or 2 minutes and the possibility of one extension of 1 minute if the match is deemed to be draw. After one extension, if the match is still considered to be drawn, compelling verdict select winners.
Event Management and Head Judge will decide for each event which classes should have one game of 1, 1.5 and 2 minutes. The general rule is 2 minutes but game time can be shortened to 1 or 1.5 minutes for classes with little or no previous racing experience.

-Opponents would not carry the game or give up during the match.

Kick-completed with good control and the right technology to huvudet.Spark may only be marking and shall remain 5-10 cm away from the opponent’s helmet.
-Ashi-Barai = fotsvep performed properly and that leads to the opponent is swept down and followed by Tsuki = one kind selected against over the body.
